There are over 7500 UNREGISTERED gas fitters actively working in the UK
Due to us undertaking regular Gas Safety checks for our clients, our Gas Safe engineers have to take part in numerous Gas Safety inspections by Gas Safe inspectors to ensure we are continually at the forefront of our industry by pioneering new and improved methodologies to deliver the very best results for any Gas Safety tests and Gas Safety checks we are part of.
Under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, landlords are required to ensure that the flues, gas appliances, gas fires and fittings are Gas Safe. If you are a landlord or the owner of a property, then having an annual gas safety inspection of your gas appliances and central heating systems is a must. This means that gas appliances should be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, while any flues and pipework must be kept in a safe condition and inspected regularly. Having regular Gas Safety inspections will ensure they are safe to use.
The Gas Safe Register
The Gas Safe Register is the official list of registered gas engineers who can work safely and legally on gas appliances. It is now a legal requirement for all gas engineers to be registered on the Gas Safe Register, which replaced the CORGI gas registration.
Only Gas Safe registered engineers are qualified and legally able to conduct installation, maintenance and safety checks.
Our engineers are all Gas Safe registered (previously known as Corgi Gas Safe fitters or Corgi registered engineers) meaning that our client’s can all rest assured they have gone through the relevant training and have the knowledge and experience to get the job one right first time round.
